Is English enough here?
For daily life and most workplaces, yes. For municipal correspondence, tenancy disputes, insurance small print and school administration, no, and that is precisely the gap we exist to close. Learning Dutch is still worth doing, and we point you to courses that suit working adults.
How do people get around?
Bicycle first, metro second, car last. The metro reaches most of the city and much of the region, the OV-chipkaart or your bank card covers everything, and a car is genuinely useful only if you work the terminals or have small children in two directions.
What is the international community like?
Large, working, and spread across the region rather than gathered in one quarter. Between the port cluster, Erasmus University, the medical centre and the creative sector, most arrivals find their people faster here than they expect. We make introductions where we can, which for many clients matters more than any administrative step.

Do you only cover Rotterdam itself?
We cover the whole region: Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Capelle, Barendrecht, the Hoeksche Waard and the port corridor out to Hoek van Holland. Often the best home for your budget is one town over, and we will tell you so.
My employer is in the port area. Where should I live?
It depends on your shift pattern and tolerance for the A15. Plenty of port professionals live centrally and commute out against traffic; others prefer Voorne-Putten or Westland for proximity. We model your actual commute before you choose.
Can you work directly with my employer or HR department?
Gladly. We regularly coordinate with HR on start dates, contracts and paperwork, and can act as the single point of contact so the employee simply arrives and everything works.
